While skating at Cider Barn we must insist that all skaters practice safe and courteous behavior. Your wellbeing is important to us. Watch your speed, stay in control and have fun! 

Please follow all rules 

Cider Barn Ice Rink Rules 

These premises are monitored and recorded by camera surveillance at all times to ensure the safety of everyone .  

No one is allowed on the ice without ice skates and having a signed waiver on file.   

No carrying children on the ice.    

Please do not wear skates on any other surface than the designated areas with rubber mats. This will help keep the skates sharp and prevent damage to floors, skates , rink and injuries. 

Please do not leave personal items on benches or the ground someone could trip over them. Items can be left in storage provided or with Cider Barn Staff, valuables can be secured if necessary. Cider Barn is not responsible for lost or stolen items although we do have a lost or found box. 

No one is allowed on the ice while resurfacing or clearing the rink is occurring. 

Management reserves the right to interrupt or stop skating for ice resurfacing, unsafe ice conditions, special events,including weather related events,  or for any other staff-related incidence. 

Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult unless it is a private event or  permission has been given by Cider Barn Staff.  

No food, beverages or breakable objects are allowed on the ice.  

Please do not set children on top of dasherboards or block the entrance to the rink.  

No one is allowed to use the ice rink under the influence of alcohol or drugs, including prescription medication that may alter awareness.Smoking and alcohol are strictly forbidden.  

No profanity, obscene gestures or clothing allowed. This is a family friendly environment.  

Please report any soft or compromised  ice conditions to staff right away to help prevent injury or damage. 

Please exit the ice promptly at the end of your skating session to allow the next group of skaters on the ice.  

All Dasher the Dolphin skate training aids should be checked back in and returned to their designated home when you are finished with them so they may be used by other skaters. No sharing or saving between sessions as they have already been reserved and paid for in advance. 

Refrain from acting in a manner that may cause or contribute to the injury of themselves or other persons. 

Refrain from digging into ice with skates or kicking dasher boards to prevent damage to ice rink liner. Please be careful not to damage the blue railing cover. No setting personal objects on the rink surface. 

Participants are required to follow directions of Cider Barn Staffing at all times 

No games of tag are permitted unless directed by Cider Barn Staff.  

No hockey during Open Skate Sessions. At the end of your skating session please place laces inside skates and bring to the service counter for exchange. 

Read and abide all posted signs, warning and cooperate with rink staff.
